Terms and conditions

This list is primarily aimed at UK-based full-time professional freelance journalists. It should be used for the discussion of the business of freelance journalism only.

Example subjects for discussion might include rates, how to get paid on time, industry gossip, finding new markets and so on. All discussion is intended to be confidential and should not be quoted outside the list unless permission has been gained from the poster(s).

Additionally all list members are required to be courteous to other list members at all times and will be held personally liable for any defamatory postings.

The moderators reserve the right to refuse admission to the list and to remove anyone that, in their view, is making a negative contribution to the discussion.

To see the collection of prior postings to the list, please visit the FJUK Archives. Please note this is for list members only - you will be required to submit your subscription email address and password.
