As we finish our latest news:rewired digital journalism event, in London today, we are very happy to announce the dates for forthcoming events.

The next event will be the first in a new series of half-day events, taking a detailed look at an important topic in digital journalism.

The first 'news:rewired in focus' event will look at social media search and verification, scheduled for Wednesday 21 October at Reuters in Canary Wharf, London. Starting at 1pm there will be a networking lunch, followed by a keynote speech, panel discussion and practical workshops looking at how journalists can quickly, ethically and reliably find stories from social sources.

Tickets are now available for the half day event, with the first 50 tickets available for £60 +VAT until Friday 21 August, after which prices will rise to £80 +VAT.

The next full news:rewired event will take place on Tuesday 1 December at MSN in Victoria, London. The details of speakers, sessions and panels will be announced in the near future, but if there are any session you may particularly like to see please get in touch with 'newsrw idea' in the subject.

As with news:rewired in focus tickets, there are a limited number of early-bird discount tickets available now for £120 +VAT until Friday 4 September, after which they will rise to £165 +VAT.
